With
the majority of business printers now being attached to
a network, the demand for Ethernet print servers
continues to increase. To meet this demand, TallyGenicom offer
a wide range of internal and external LAN interfaces.
For printers not offered with internal solutions and any
other printer with a parallel interface, the TallyCom+
range offers excellent connection options. These fast,
flexible devices connect to a range of systems,
including Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP, plus UNIX, Novell,
OS/2 and Apple. Host based software is not required as
the products can be configured and managed via a web
browser. Advanced features include email notification of
errors, pre-strings, post strings and search and
replace.
All
Tally line printer products can be fitted with LANPlex
Ethernet interfaces. These are 10/100BaseT print
servers, which can be configured and managed via
standard web browsers. All the functions of the
printers are accessed via the web browser and status

TallyGenicom
solution for IBM mainframes and mid-range systems
|
|
|
TallyGenicom
provides a number of products for connecting products to
IBM host systems. Line printers fitted with FourPlex
interfaces can connect to AS400 or IBM mainframe via
Twinax or Coax lines. FourPlex can be standard SCS,
however for Advance Function Printing (AFP), IPDS
FourPlex versions are available. Emulations supported
are 4234, 3287, 3268, 3262 and 6400 for mainframe
systems and 4234, 4210 for Twinax systems.

TallyGenicom
external solutions for IBM systems
|
|
|
TallyGenicom supply MPI HostCom print servers for connecting IBM mainframes and AS400 mid-range systems to dot matrix printers. These are SCS (non-IPDS) units which fit unobtrusively behind the printer. In addition, we offer the CSP E-Box, an Ethernet solution offering AFP-IPDS for serial matrix printers.
