Hanley Building Society
T5023 Flatbed Passbook Printers
Tally, the computer printer specialist, today announced that Hanley Building Society has deployed twenty of its flatbed printers for specific customer-focused applications. Tally T5023s are used for passbook and flat sheet printing, an application key to all cashier staff at the company’s four branches.
Computer Systems Administrator at Hanley Building Society, Steve Boulton, says, “In a customer-facing environment, it’s important we equip ourselves with the right tools for the job. We were looking for a specific printing solution for producing up-to-the-minute transaction information for each customer’s account. We needed a reliable printer with precise forms control, capable of producing hundreds of customer records each day.”
Hanley Building Society was drawn Tally’s track record in developing printers for specific financial services applications. “We were confident Tally would deliver us a solution made specifically for our application. This has been reassured by our use of the T5023, which has significantly improved the quality of our printing, giving our customers a clear statement of their finances.”
The T5023 document insertion tray and flatbed design provide a straight, horizontal paper path, allowing it to handle difficult media types such as thick multi-part paper and passbooks. This makes it ideally suited to financial printing environments, and, in addition, the printer possesses an extensive range of fonts, character sets and emulations.
